New Year Snow Holing

It makes a change from being indoors.

This year we headed over to the Cairngorms and spent 4 hours creating our home for the night close to the summit.

It was Liz’s birthday too , so we brought up cake and Port and a dram or 2.

Happy Birthday Liz.

At 11 we headed off into the dark to the summit and then back quickly to our sleeping bags where we saw in the New Year.

Many happy returns to you all for 2010 and hope to see you all out on an adventure soon.
