Hill House - Day 1
We had a great journey to Pinecroft. 3 hours on the coach just flew by. By the time we got here the weather was wonderful, sunny and warm. The children were introduced to our Real Adventure staff: Dan (The boss), Jen and Nigel. We also met Janine who is to be our fantastic chef for the rest of the week. They were told their groups and all seemed happy when they marched off to discover their dorms in the lodges. The lodges are modern, warm and well equipped.
All four groups enjoyed their trips to the White Scar show caves and the natural cave in Kingsdale. We saw some magnificent natural structures in the caves and learnt a great deal about the geological history of the area.
Janine cooked a delicious Shepherd’s Pie followed by the most amazing chocolate pudding that all enjoyed.
The day was topped off with a Beetle Drive that was organised by Mrs Brown. Results to follow!
