Single Pitch Award

This award is for those who wish to supervise a group on single pitch crags and climbing walls.

The training and assessment covers such skills as choice of venue, rope management, correct use of equipment, group management, emergency procedures, crag etiquette, access and conservation.

SPA training and assessment courses last a minimum of two days or twenty hours.

These courses are run by Dan Robinson and Mike Margeson through Lakeside YMCA.
If you have a group of people or a college team wanting a course run for you we can set up a course specifically to you anywhere in the UK.

£135 none residential (transport and climbing wall entry + all course stickers provided)

These are run by either Dan Robinson or Mike Margeson through Mike’s provider status.
The ratio is normally 1:1 or you could team up with another to reduce the cost.
