Caving Skills Module for Kendal College Day 1

Perfect water conditions, the Floods of November 2009 have dropped off to a sensible level. Gareth and I headed off up to Paton Bridge for blast down this fantastic local grade 4. With a ‘booff’ off the weir and role at meal bank the rat was fed for another day.Read more

Brathay in High Water

Rawthay Mission that turned into a Lune trip

Sally Liz and I headed over to the Rawthay, this is the river that goes down past Sedburgh and later Joins the Lune. Water levels had dropped off so we headed Back to the Lune and ran the Crook of Lune to Killington again. Slightly more technical but easier in lower water.
