River Mint

Perfect water conditions, the Floods of November 2009 have dropped off to a sensible level. Gareth and I headed off up to Paton Bridge for blast down this fantastic local grade 4.

With a ‘booff’ off the weir and role at meal bank the rat was fed for another day.

Brathay in High Water

Sally and I headed over to the Brathay for a quick run before meeting up with Jane from Langdale School for a spot of sailing.

It was Tanking it!

Looked at running Skelwith Falls but it was just too huge so put on just below and headed down ducking our way through the trees.

Rawthay Mission that turned into a Lune trip

Sally Liz and I headed over to the Rawthay, this is the river that goes down past Sedburgh and later Joins the Lune.

Water levels had dropped off so we headed Back to the Lune and ran the Crook of Lune to Killington again.

Slightly more technical but easier in lower water.

Back to kendal for Soup and Medals.
