St Chris’ Lakes Summer Program

This week we had 52 young people, 9 really helpful helpers (the Otters) and a team of really great staff stay at Great Tower Scout Camp.

The weeks activities consisted of a mixture of Caving, Climbing, Mountain Scrambling, Gill Scrambling, Abseiling, Kayaking, Climbing, Canoeing and a days Team Task with a who load of fun in the evenings, a visit to the beach and some of the best food you could wish to consume.

Thanks to the dedicated team of teachers for bringing the team away, this course has been running for many years due to their commitment.

   On tender-hooks for the video! Thanks for an awesome week. The children had the most amazing, self-affirming week that they will remember for a long time. Team building stuff on Thursday was SO well organised and fun. Looking forward to next year

   Pat and I organised the trip again this year: I can honestly say that it was one of the absolute best ! Dan the Man got together a fantastic set of instructors and locations / activities, and combined with our own team of superb staff and Otters we all created a week that I know the kids will always remember. Thanks to everyone – especially all the kids who were up for some pretty scary stuff – for a fantastic week.

   Omg i love this video its so funny!!!!!! i’m the one wearing those really goofy fake glasses!!!!! had so much fun all week would like to say thank you to my amazing instructor steve!!!!!!!!! and everyone else at real advernture for providing all the excellent activities!!!!! and all the teachers and behind the scenes people especially pat!!!! we’re all gonna miss you pat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i really want come back as an otter!!!!!!

   OMG (in sammy’s words) that was a really good vid. I especially LOVE the short clip of Dave Illot at the end
   Would like to point out that i took that AMAZING picture of Graham :p
   Dan the Man in the sexy black Van (and his team) made this an fantabulous week and i am thankful to all of them!!! Had sooo much fun being an otter even on the days where i was on site. We had some fantastic evenings with Bet and ‘Martin and the lakers’ too.
