Activity help with school visits

A school group was staying at Fisher Ground Campsite in Eskdale and needed a hand running a climbing session for the young people, they where running the rest of their 2 night stay in tents themselves so Mike and Graham just headed over for the day with the climbing kit.

Everyone had a great day on Brantrake Crag climbing up the crag, abseiling back down.

During all our climbing sessions we teach everyone the beginnings of the a set of skills that will allow them to progress if they choose to a climber. Today the team learnt how to belay, tie onto the rope, abseil, climb and look after each other.
